DESCRIPTION

Midnatssol (or "Midnight Sun") is a wonderfully soft and fluffy lace-weight yarn made of baby alpaca, merino, and Tencel. A softer sister to mohair, Midnatssol is great for those who find mohair itchy or irritating, while still giving all the same benefits and effects that a classic mohair yarn gives, such as strength, fluffiness, and softness.

And because this yarn is so fuzzy, you can get away with using larger sized needles and create pieces that are lightweight and airy, but still very warm and cozy for those colder months.

HOW IT'S MADE

Midnatssol is made from 100% natural & biodegradable fibers including baby alpaca, merino, and Tencel. The baby alpaca and merino are sourced from South America where mulesing is not practiced. Tencel is a branded name for lyocell, which is made from sustainably sourced eucalyptus trees in a closed-loop production cycle without the use of toxic solutions or petroleum.

Midnatssol is a great solution for those who love the look of mohair, but find mohair irritating to the skin.
