DESCRIPTION

Snefnug is a super soft, airy, light, full-bodied yarn made of all-natural fibers. This yarn is made from a cotton tube core, in which a luxurious blend of baby alpaca and merino are blown. This provides a fabric that's strong, but also wonderfully soft. Because of how lofty and squishy Snefnug is, it's suitable for various needle sizes from 4mm-6mm.

Snefnug Natur is made from 100% undyed fiber, and includes colours White, Cream, Latte, and Mouse Grey.

HOW IT'S MADE

Many blown yarns are made with synthetic cores, but Snefnug uses 100% natural fibers, meaning it will not create microplastic waste, and is completely biodegradable. Snefnug is produced by a family-owned spinning mill in Italy with care and consideration for both the environment and animal welfare. The merino comes from South America, where mulesing is not practiced. The baby alpaca comes from Peru. And the cotton comes from Egypt and is organic, ensuring it's grown with strict regulations surrounding chemical & pesticide use, GMO seeds, water consumption, and wildlife conservation.
